This song is taken from a CD, which has been supported by The Norwegian Church Aid and the World Council of Churches. Some of the songs on the CD are written especially for the occasion, some are traditional songs from Palestine, mostly about Jerusalem. Under the headline "A time to cry" they add to a 3000 years old tradition in Jerusalem: To cry and lament the city whose children so often have suffered. Read more.

Settlers attack Ecumenical Accompaniers in Sheikh Jarrah

On 5th April 2010, Israeli settlers attacked three Ecumenical Accompaniers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood of East Jerusalem. One of the accomaniers, a woman in her sixties, was hit by a rock. Four of the young men in the video were later temporarily banned from the area. Read about the incident here.
